C110 ETP (Electrolytic Tough Pitch) copper sheet blanks are the industry standard for electrical and thermal applications, delivering 101% IACS electrical conductivity and 391 W/m-K thermal conductivity that no other commercially available engineering metal can match. The ETP designation indicates the copper has been electrolytically refined to 99.90% minimum purity with a controlled oxygen content of approximately 0.04% that does not significantly impact conductivity.
Electrical applications represent the largest use case for C110 copper sheet blanks. Custom busbars sheared or machined from sheet stock are the backbone of power distribution in electrical panels, battery systems, and industrial switchgear. The material's high conductivity means smaller cross-sections can carry equivalent current compared to aluminum, which matters in space-constrained enclosures. Copper's superior connection reliability through bolted, soldered, and crimped joints further cements its position as the preferred busbar material.
Thermal management is the second major application area. C110 copper sheet is machined into heat spreaders, cold plates, and thermal interface components for power electronics, LED lighting, and laser systems. The thermal conductivity advantage over aluminum (391 vs. 167 W/m-K) justifies copper's weight and cost premium in applications where heat dissipation directly limits system performance.
C110 copper sheet blanks are available in soft (annealed), half-hard, and hard tempers. Soft temper offers maximum formability for gaskets, formed enclosures, and roofing applications. Half-hard and hard tempers provide improved flatness and rigidity for machined busbars and structural electrical components. Our blanks are sheared from certified mill sheet in gauges from 24 gauge through 3/16 inch with protective interleaving to preserve surface quality.
